Last Friday we closed on the condo in Hudson, moved in, and stayed over Friday night. All went well.
Thank you to Stan, Angie, and Walter for the help! We couldn’t have done it without you.
Last Saturday we ran a yard sale. Brian, Liz, Piper, and Maysie came down to join us and to sell some their stuff. It was fun watching the kids together. We had a BBQ lunch and just enjoyed the company.
As part of Mom’s Chamber of Commerce duties she had to work at the Maynard Festival. So today Scott, Elisa, Mati, and Arianna went to the festival. There are a few photos at Mom’s Photos.
We’re still settling in at the Cape and we expect to start dealing with a condo purchase as soon as next week.
As of right now we no longer own the house in Hudson. The closing took place at 11am this morning and all went well. So right now the Cape house is our only residence.
We will start a more serious look at a condo in a few days, but for right now we commute from Dennis.
Mom, Auntie Glad and I just returned from Memphis after going to Hope’s daughter Cindy’s wedding to Charles. We arrived there Thursday and met Howard and Linda at the airport. We visited Beale Street in the downtown area and Friday morning we went to Graceland - the home of Elvis. Before the wedding we met up with Hope, Bill, Susie, Heather, Joe, and Harlan. It was great to be at the wedding to see Cindy get married and to spend so much time with the family!

Well, we’ve moved out of the house in Hudson and put most of the furniture into storage. We had to move last weekend because we’ll be away this weekend which is closer to the closing. Baring any last minute surprises, we close on the Hudson house September 30th. So now we have storage space and the Cape house garage loaded with boxes and extra furniture.
Our plan is to buy an inexpensive condo in Hudson and we’ll use the furniture for that.
Scott, Elisa, Mati, and Arianna are here enjoying themselves. The kids like being in the yard and at the beach.
This weekend we’ll be going to Memphis for Cindy’s wedding. We’ll be staying at Auntie Glad’s house Wednesday night and getting to the airport early Thursday morning. We’ll be back here Sunday.
So by the end of the month things should be settled down.
We had a great weekend and the weather held out long enough for us to have a beach photo shot. There are a few pictures on Mom’s Photos. More will follow ina day or so.
It was a lot of fun talking with everyone and playing with our grandchildren.

Already at the Cape we have Julie, Kevin, Otto, Scott, Elisa, Mati, and Arianna. Then Mark, Brian, Liz, Piper, and Maysie arrive Saturday! And so far the weather looks good for the family pictures.
This Wednesday Julie, Kevin, and Otto will be coming into the Providence airport. Scott, Elisa, Mati, and Arianna will meet them there are drive them to the Cape.
We’ll be driving down Wednesday night. Mark, Brian, Liz, Piper, and Maysie will join us on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday afternoon / early evening we’ll be having a family picture taken at the beach.
This weekend we showed Scott the house - it’s the first time he’s seen it even though he designed it. Mati really likes running around on the beach!
